Last Historical Character Walk of Year
The last Historical Character Walk of 2015 takes place on Sunday 30 August as part of Thetford’s Great Festival. Starting at 2pm from outside The Albion on Castle Street, the wheelchair friendly walk last about 90 minutes, ending at St Peter’s Church, White Hart Street where refreshments will be served.
Meet characters including Thomas Paine and Betty Radcliffe as well as Sir Joseph Williamson and Lord George Dacre, who all have links with Thetford. This entertaining and informative tour is performed by members of Thetford Players.
Tickets are available through Leaping Hare at £6 each or 4 for £20.
