Thetford Players was established in 2010 following a renewed enthusiasm for drama in the town. This came about after two successful productions were staged, ‘Citizen of the World’ as part of the Thomas Paine 200 celebrations and then ‘Dad’s Army Comes Home’. A number of those involved then worked to put on Thetford Players first production, ‘Dick Whittington’ in January 2011. Since then we have performed an annual pantomime, a number of musical themed shows, short plays as well as running Historical Character Walks in the town.
