About Us

Thetford Players amateur dramatic group is open to all, whether you have been involved in theatre before or just want to have a go at something different.

We put on up to three productions a year, including our annual pantomime in January as well as getting involved in other local events. Auditions are held for our main shows, which members will be the first to hear about.

Even if treading the boards isn’t really your thing, there are many other ways of getting involved ‘off-stage’ such as making props, sets or costumes; crewing a show backstage; assisting with hair and make-up; providing technical support with sound and lighting or welcoming audience members on show nights as front of house.

We usually rehearse on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm at our home, The Terrapin, Fulmerston Christian Fellowship, Fulmerston Road, Thetford, IP24 3BG. These times are subject to change from production to production so please check our current schedule by contacting us at .

Most of our productions and events take place at the Carnegie Room, Cage Lane, Thetford, IP24 2DS.

We are members of National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), the official body for amateur theatre groups in the UK.
